To showcase the improvements of trainees after joining YETP as well as to commend the caring efforts of service providers and employers, the Programme Office has organised "YETP Most Improved Trainees Awards 2023" and selected 10 awardees.

Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) and Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong jointly present a radio drama “A Moment to Fly II”. The radio drama consists of seven short stories adapted from the real-life experiences of some awardees of the YETP Most Improved Trainees 2020. It showcases how they have overcome various challenges in the workplace with their perseverance and passion for work, as well as with the support of their employers, case managers and family.

YETP and ViuTV jointly present a TV Programme to showcase the significant improvements of the Most Improved Trainees 2021 after joining YETP and to commend the caring efforts of service providers and employers. YETP and Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong also jointly produce radio interviews with sharing from various parties.

Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) and Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong jointly produce 8-episode employer interviews, inviting employer representatives from different industries to share industry profiles, interview tips, as well as their experience in employing YETP trainees.

YETP and Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) collaborated again and jointly produced a micro movie, "Seize the Second". The movie is adapted from the stage drama, which features on the encouraging stories of four YETP trainees.

The drama is adapted from the true stories of four young people. Siu Tang determined to become an "Aircraft Maintenance Craftsman Trainee" while her boyfriend just proposed to her; Michael who was striving for his music dream faced a strong temptation to earn quick money; Chin Hung, a playful juvenile, spent all his time only on football and lost his direction; Chun Fai was despaired of himself and his future after a failure in the public exam…

Summer is full of vigour and vitality. Teenage is the summer of a life. In this wonderful summer, the Labour Department co-organised with Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) the Award Ceremony of Most Improved Trainees of Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) named ""Solar Project 2014 – Dream Journey with YETP"".

The Labour Department worked in collaboration with Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) again in organising the Award Ceremony of Most Improved Trainees of Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in the evening of 27 August 2013. The theme of the event was "Dream Journey". We aimed at disseminating the message that youths should act after mapping out their dreams, as a continuation of the theme used in 2012.

DREAM JOURNEY WITH YETP

Soar through the decade, Head for 2012! Mr Matthew CHEUNG Kin-chung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare attended the YETP 2011/12 Programme Kick-off cum Award Ceremony of Most Improved Trainees 2011 on 16 August 2011 to support young people. He also presented awards to the 10 Most Improved Trainees, winning employers and training bodies.

10 Most Improved Trainees recognised for their improvements in personal development, leadership, social service and job performance were promoted to "Pilots" on 11 August 2010 during the YETP 2010/11 Programme Kick-off cum Award Ceremony of Most Improved Trainees 2010 at the Youth Square in Chai Wan. They are now ready to fly ahead to their dreams!
